    Unless requested by the data owner to delete it sooner, we hold user consented data until the purpose for which it has been granted ceases to be relevant or the organization closes.  The purpose is to promote understanding protection enjoyment and enhancement of the beautiful Arun countryside, its natural environment and its historic environment or cultural heritage.  Personal data is collected held and used only for this purpose, and, for the benefit of the owners of the personal data (ie so as to enable them to participate as fully as they may wish in realizing the purpose).

    Arun Countryside Trust CIO (MAVES) does not sell or otherwise transfer any personal data to commercial companies or other organisations, with the exception of web statistics (see below) which are hosted and managed by a third party company (ie Google, Inc and other web analytics services).

    We do not transfer any personal data to any other organisations. We collaborate with organizations operating similar purposes such as Sussex Wildlife Trust and Arundel Agenda 21 but this collaboration does not involve any transfer of personal data. 

    Arun Countryside Trust CIO is registered with the Charity Commission, with the name MAVES continuing to be used for its natural-environment activity.  This re-branding and registration does not involve any transfer of personal data to a different organization.

    Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website.
